This place has been our mainstay for burritos for many years! They have an extensive menu, but we always revert back to the burritos. It's a very casual restaurant, order at counter and sit wherever you like. A small container of chips is free of charge. The best part is the complimentary salsa bar! Many various salsas are offered ,my faves are the mild green and hot salsa, the mild green is very popular and tends to run out quickly. Best to not come near closing time as most salsas reach empty. The pickled spicy carrots are bomb!
Burritos are huge, and you can order it dry or wet. Various meats to choose from too. My go to is the chile verde burrito, I delete the sour cream and cheese and ask for more guacamole instead, which they will do for no extra charge. I then pour over the green salsas. My hubby gets the carne asada burrito, mojado style (wet burrito with red salsa) - his fave.
This review is only for their burritos, many other items offered on the menu. We believe they offer a good size burrito with a large salsa bar for a reasonable price. Best in south San Jose. -

I tried a few of their tacos. Personally I've never had beans on a taco so that was a bit weird.
Carne Asada taco: Meat was dry bland and old.
Chicken Taco: Actually had good flavor, but it was shredded boiled chicken like Caldo. I was expecting grilled chicken
Pork Verde: Lacked any flavor that would make it a verde, tasted like regular pastor. Bland and dry as well
Lengua Taco: Actually very good, it was well done and very tender. -

$1 taco special all day everyday. Beef, choice of ground or shredded. Beans, onions, and cilantro. Limit 10. Comes with slice of lime.
I like the Super Burritos here, big and fat. Less than $9 to boot.
You get a zip lock bag of chips with to go orders.
Salsa bar is extensive. The creamy (hot) is like the other orange sauces at other places. -

Amazing customer service from the young girl at the front cashier, looks very clean and on point the restaurant was nice good looking the ladies in the back in the kitchen look like very honest working women and really satisfied and didn't expect this from this Mexican restaurant I will be coming back and tell him I friends about it!!!
